Tres Suenos Winery and Vineyard north of Luther is under new management. Tammy Blevins and her family have been working on the property all winter while inviting guests to come see, and taste the wine.

“Our family is very excited to be a part of the new management at Tres Suenos Winery and Vineyard. It has been producing fine wines and offering a beautiful one of a kind location to hold weddings for over 20 years,” said Blevins. “We were attracted to taking on the huge challenge of owning a winery because of all the wonderful possibilities and potential the property offers.”

The property at 19691 East Charter Oak Road is alluring to adventure seekers and wine enthusiasts. Many a meandering Route 66 motorist take the trip up Luther Road to where it turns into red dirt in Logan County and keeps going. The trip features a bumpy, sometimes dusty and sometimes muddy, three miles on the dirt road. For the determined, the passage always leads to the winery. As they say, the journey is part of the experience!

Once there, visitors take in the view of the five-acre vineyard, and inside the tasting room will be offered a chance to sample the wine list and learn about wine. Return visitors will be familiar with the list that features the Tres Suenos classics of the sweet Oklahoma Select White, Noble Red or Anniversary Red and Fiesta Blanca, or the dry Charter Oak Red or Chardonnay, all produced on site.

Then there’s the pine trees. The property originally began as a Christmas Tree farm before the vineyard was planted. As the pines began towering and offering cool shade, and the grapevines grew deep roots in the red dirt to produce the distinctive Oklahoma wine, an event venue was born. Hundreds of couples have had their weddings under those pines. Blevins invites couples to come look at the unique venue for weddings or any event that brings people together.

“We have a several beautiful indoor and outdoor venues that we plan on using to host weddings, birthday parties, yoga retreats, bingo, live music, corporate events, murder mystery dinners, wine and pallet, pony parties and much more. We also have an exquisite three room vineyard suite with a fully furnished kitchen for  wedding parties or just a night stay to get away. Each room has a king size bed and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. The covered porch overlooks the vineyard and makes for a great place to unwind with a glass of our fine wine and a beautiful sunset,” she said.

Tres Suenos’ winter hours are Thursday – Sunday from 11 am – 8 pm. Like their Facebook page to stay connected on future events, and contact Christi at 405-277-7089 or Christi@tressuenos.com for questions.

“It is our goal to create a fun, peaceful place where everyone feels welcome,” said Blevins. She said so far the response has been great and they have loved having a glass with visitors and hearing their stories about Tres Suenos Winery & Vineyard.
