Why the date and location change?

The Luther Pecan Festival will be held on Dec. 3 – 4, 2021, at the Couch Pecan Orchard on the corner of Route 66 and Luther Road.

Although we had the three previous fests in November on Main Street, we knew we wanted more space to grow after the successful event in 2019. With the new owners at Couch Pecans, we talked through the logistics of their harvest time and optimized how they can take care of the pecan needs of their customers, and have the orchard ready for visitors. Moving it to this date made sense, so we are going to try it!

By the way, Couch Pecans opens for the season on November 15, before Thanksgiving to buy the freshest pecans for those pies and holiday treats.

Look for the Town of Luther and the Parks Commission to showcase Main Street with their Christmas tree lighting event, scheduled, Friday evening, Dec. 3. We hope visitors will see all that Luther has to offer.

Wait there’s more! For more fun and shopping, Broken Horn Ranch will also have a Santa Market on the same days! Organized by the fabulous Haley Roy with Clay with Hay. It looks like Luther, Oklahoma, will be the place to be Dec. 3 – 4 for a holiday shopping experience that is just what 2021 needs.

Where is the festival?

For the first time, The Luther Pecan Festival will be at the Couch Pecan Orchard, Dec. 3 – 4, 2021. The orchard is on the corner of Luther Road and Route 66. You’ll find plenty of shopping with original art, antiques, jewelry, boutiques, skincare and more from artists and artisans and curators who are passionate about their work!

Luther is east of Edmond about 15 miles, and only and hour or so away from Tulsa.

Where is Luther?

Luther is in the northeast tip of Oklahoma County. It’s an easy trip down Highway 66 from I-35 at Second Street in Edmond. Or it’s a quick exit off of the Turner Turnpike just 13 miles from OKC. Coming from the east, you could also take Highway 66 from Tulsa for a great drive, or find our exit off the Turner westbound too. Coming from the south on the new Kickapoo Turnpike from I-40, follow the signs for Luther.

What about the parking?

Luther might feel like a game-day town or the the state fair when the Pecan Festival comes to town. Look for the signs! And we hope to offer a shuttle service (bring tip money!!!!). The orchard is close to the town center with plenty of parking, AND shopping and eating. We will have signs marking designated parking areas that will include church and school parking lots.  If you’re coming in from the city, maybe UBER or LYFT or carpool?

There also will be a limited amount of paid parking available at the orchard.

When is this event?

The Luther Pecan Festival is two days! Dec. 3 – 4, 2021. We added an extra shopping day on Friday, Dec. 3, because once we get this awesome set of artists, vendors and visitors together, one day is just not long enough!

Hours.

Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 am – 5 pm
