Join us for a brunch gathering of entrepreneurs, small business owners, and those of us dreaming about doing our own thing. Whether you are side hustling, balancing gigs around kids, launching full-time or need encouragement and a boost, join us Feb. 5 for Girl Boss Galentines at Esperanza Ranch, 23400 N Luther Road.
Our speaker lineup is exactly what we need. We are thrilled that Bailey Wilson, founder of Bondi Bowls, will share her story about how she brought the beach in Australia back home and built a successful and fast-growing business that started with one food truck and a, “G-day!” Look at her now!
AND! Jen Taylor of Jen Taylor Style. She has a national social media following, a burgeoning business as an influencer, impeccable style, but we know her in these parts as a hometown girl who launched a business that reaches far beyond our town. How’s that for economic development?
Invaluable connections. Dream sharing. Practical advice.
We have a lot to learn from each other. Let’s do it in a beautiful setting, with wonderful speakers, delicious food, surprises, and an assurance to not just network, but make new friends while you get fired up for your future.
What is “Galentines?” We realize not everyone is a fan of the show Parks & Recreation. But we think there’s a little bit of Leslie Knope, Ann Perkins, Donna Meagle, and even April Ludgate in all of us! Our twist on Galentines, a day for girlfriends and support, has Girl Boss style and Luther flair.

The Girl Boss Galentines’ Lineup

Learn from the founder of the Australian-inspired, aesthetically pleasing, and delicious acai bowl business – Bondi Bowls. Bailey Wilson launched her food truck business during Covid and it quickly expanded to ten locations in four states with several more locations and a storefront on the way. She will tell us how her dream of Bondi Bowls became one of the biggest business success stories of 2021. Was it easy? Yes and No. She’ll share with us the lessons she learned, how she built her team, how she turned her challenges into opportunities, and how she continues smiling through the challenges. Follow Bondi Bowls on Instagram.
Learn from Jenny Jones Taylor. She is the plus-size fashion content creator behind Jen Taylor Style on YouTube and Instagram, and a proud believer in living a beautiful life at any size. What started as sporadically posting about plus size fashion in 2016 has evolved into a digital media presence that reaches tens of thousands every month, and includes partnerships with national brands like Walmart, Lane Bryant, Sonic, and others. Jen is a lifelong Okie, wife to a handsome cowboy, and mom to Sadie Grace and Palmer Elizabeth.
Girl Boss Galentines is brought to you by The Luther Register and Dawn Shelton who will host and share a little bit about The Luther Pecan Festival and the value of building community building. For more information, contact dawn here.
Many thanks to Esperanza Ranch, a picturesque venue, just three miles north of Route 66 on Luther Road.
The word “Esperanza” means “hope” or “expectation” in Spanish, and that is exactly what this venue represents. It is a place to celebrate life, with the full expectation that you’ll walk away with great memories of weddings, anniversaries, quinceañeras, business events, and special occasions of every kind.
