Luther Mayor Terry Arps recently received the “dual pleasure and honor” of presenting Certificates of Appreciation to ten Luther Middle School students at the Luther Community Service Center.

Teacher Carol Hedrick had ample reason to be proud of her volunteers: Robert Beavers, Haylen Gibson, Mary Katelynn Bradley, Jayde Hines, Tannar Spicuzza, Cadynn Bradley, Zaibren Long, Lidia Greggs, Yuloundra Demings, and Carlos Perry.

These young adults assisted in the preparation of food baskets for distribution. The citations on their awards read, “This Certificate is presented to (student’s name) for their dedicated and selfless service to the citizens of Luther, Oklahoma, working for the benefit of others at the Luther Community Service Center.

“Well done my young friends,” said Mayor Arps.
