Bison Blinds

For one day and one day only, the circus is coming to Luther. Can you picture it? A one-ring circus under the big top right off of Route 66 at Wildhorse Park, east of Luther Road! Catch two shows on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. That morning, there’s a free tour opportunity to watch the raising of the Big Top and learn about the performers, both human and animal,.

The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus, headquartered in Hugo, says it is in the midst of a 30-stop tour, with a show that has been featured on National Geographic’s Explorer TV series, Entertainment Tonight, A&E Special: Under the Big Top and most recently, On the Road with Circus Kids, a Nickelodeon special featured on the Nick News Program.

If you are wondering, yes, there will be tigers, unicyclists, birds, aerialists, daredevils, horses and more at the circus coming to Luther, OK, on Sept. 29, 2021.
