The Luther Pecan Festival is Saturday, November 16, 2019. After enduring frigid weather all week, the PFest forecast looks promising, with sunshine and temperatures in the mid-to-high 50s.
An amazing group of artists, vendors and food trucks are coming. Along with five Oklahoma pecan growers.
Check it out here and plan your shopping day.
Special thanks to our sponsors including BancFirst, OGE, Great Plains Veterinary Services, ThermalKat Heating and Air Conditioning, Main St. Nutrition, Chicken Shack, Farmstead Cafe, Airosurf Communication, Choctaw Healthcare Express, Triangle Silt Dike and Opus Entertainment.
Come see us Saturday. The fun begins at 10am. And we are super geared up for the #gitupchallenge at Noon. Bring your co-workers, your friends, your team. We’ll dance and maybe a video of it will go viral!
Cookoff entries are due at 10 am. Drop them at Main St. Nutrition. Winners announced at 1 pm.
Local band Parachute will play at 11 am, and Born in November takes the stage at 2 pm. We will also hear from a trio of Luther High School guys who won the Chicken Shack’s talent show last month.
I just love how you don’t tell us where it is. On just about every festival I see there is never an address.
The address is Main Street in Luther! Can’t miss it. Wondering where Luther is? Check out a map or our FAQ:http://www.lutherregister.news/faq/. Thanks.
The map does not show the location of the car show? Please let me know where to take my antique pickup for the car show.
The Car Show will feature trophies and prizes for all categories of cars from classic to hot rods. Jeffries asks entrants to show up before 10:30 am on November 16, at his place at 204 N Ash (by the railroad tracks where Ash intersects with Main Street and the entrance to the festival).
Entry fee is $20 to DJ’s (not the Pecan Festival). Trophies, prizes and gift certificates will be awarded. There will also be live music from singer Brian Wilcox. Need more information, call DJ’s at 405-277-5025.
