It’s here. October 31. Halloween and the big candy grab. In Luther, there will be plenty of candy and fun beginning with the annual Trunk or Treat on Main Street from 5 – 7 pm. In addition, several congregations are having indoor festivities the Assembly of God, First Christian and Baptist churches. And many homes around town will have candy. Remember the businesses on Ash too. Word is the Luther Insurance Agency will have some candy!
Many businesses around town will be open this evening! Pop in and say Hi.
No word yet whether Brew 66 will bring the unicorn! Reminds us that Luther’s coffee shop over on Dogwood wasn’t even open yet a year ago. Lots of things change in a year – including the bank moving to Highway 66 (near the coffee shop, vape shop and Dollar General). And now renovations are underway at the former bank building for the “new” Town Hall. We lost our town cafe, but welcomed other new businesses. Upward and onward.
Here’s a look back at Trunk or Treat 2018 in this slideshow. Special thanks to the Luther Parks Commission and the many businesses and sponsors who support the community.
