ARCADIA – Singer-songwriter Marco Tello, a flatpicker and multi-instrumentalist, will present Morning Music from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the downstairs museum of the Arcadia Round Barn.
The monthly Round Barn Rendezvous, a jam session featuring local musicians, is set for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 12, in the loft of the barn.

Admission is free to both events but donations will be accepted. Free coffee and pastries will be served.
Tello spent much of the 1980s hitchhiking across the western United States with Colorado state champion banjo player Kane Hollins, honing his bluegrass music skills. In Oklahoma, he’s worked with dozens of acts in such genres as funk, disco, 1950s rock, top 40s country, rock and roll, punk and Red Dirt.
Tello is a frequent visitor to Europe, where he works with the Austrian reggae band Kinky Slinky.
The Arcadia Round Barn is six miles east of Interstate 35 on Historic Route 66 and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information about live music at the barn, call Joe Baxter at 405-833-1350.
