The mayor of the town and the superintendent of the schools are among those who say they will attend a community meeting on Monday, January 28, 2019. The meeting, organized by The Luther Register, is an effort to gather business owners, community leaders, neighbors, and others with an interest in working together to help our area of the world – from supporting the public schools, local businesses and the community.
As part of the meeting, we’ll meet each other, discuss the Luther Pecan Festival, the feasibility of having more events, working together on community promotion, and supporting the community.
Mayor Jenni White and Superintendent Barry Gunn said they will attend, along with business owners, volunteers and others.
The meeting will be held at the cafeteria of Luther Middle School, 320 SE Second, Luther. All are invited. The meeting will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
