The Lions stayed in there all game, trailing but always within striking distance. At the half, the Lions were just down one point. But at the end of the match, the Longhorns had pulled ahead for a 68 – 56 win. The girls game was the second of three games Tuesday night featuring the JV and Varsity boys.

“I like where we are,” said Coach Vick as he will get his team ready for a tough January that will feature 12 games including two tournaments against tough competition. They’ll take one week off for Christmas.
