ARCADIA – Round Barn Rendezvous regulars and a few special guests will provide holiday music during the Dec. 9 Christmas Rendezvous, from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the Arcadia Round Barn.
Performers will include Buffalo Rogers, Rick Reiley, the Round Barn Ramblers, Ben and Alycia Goeke, Joe Baxter, Sunshine and Yvie Scherer, the Lake Hiwassee Bluegrass Ensemble and Poor Boys Choir, the Baxter Sisters, Tim Blake, Marco Tello and T.Z. Wright. The program will be in the loft of the Round Barn, where the architecture lends itself beautifully to acoustic music.
The loft will be decorated for the holidays, and visitors are invited to bring a festive dessert to add to the food buffet provided by Janet Wilhite of Okie Cookies Catering. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the ongoing maintenance of the barn, which was built in 1898.

“Round Barn Rendezvous Christmas is a fun tradition of Christmas music, food, fun and holiday fellowship,” said Joe Baxter, a Midwest City singer-songwriter and Arcadia Historical and Preservation Society volunteer who coordinates live music at the Round Barn.
“Rendezvous regulars get a chance to entertain a lively Christmas crowd and to celebrate the season in our wonderful old Round Barn,” Baxter said.
The Arcadia Round Barn is 6 miles east of Interstate 35 on Historical Route 66. The museum and gift shop are open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
