Caleb Sanders has been in scouts most of his life. He began as a Tiger Scout in First grade and as a tenth grader in Boy Scouts, recently earned his Eagle Scout, the organization’s highest honor.

Caleb’s project was one to spruce up the band room at Luther schools. He planned, developed and implemented a project to provide shelving for instruments in the aging building where the band meets. The project took about four days to complete and he had 20 volunteers to help.

As a member of Troop 344, Caleb has completed 37 merit badges, far exceeding the requirement for Eagle Scout of only 21 merit badges. Caleb will also be awarded one silver palm that will represent earning at least 15 merit badges more than necessary to become an Eagle Scout.

A demonstrated leader, Caleb is currently Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 344. He has completed countless hours of community service in Luther, as well as throughout Oklahoma City such as serving at the Jesus House and throughout the state during campouts.
He was awarded his Eagle Scout honor at a meeting on September 26, 2018.
