ONE DAY OFF: School closed Monday

Bison Blinds

Luther Schools will close Monday, April 2,  during the planned state-wide teacher walkout. But Superintendent Barry Gunn notified parents and students today that school will re-open on Tuesday, April 3.

Mr. Gunn said many teachers and others are planning to go to the State Capitol on Monday. Luther students are off tomorrow for Good Friday giving them a four-day weekend.

The Oklahoma House and Senate passed a measure this week that would give teachers raises through various tax increases, before the threatened teacher walkout that was set to begin Monday. The Governor has not signed the measure.
