Word from Luther Police Department that the alleged suspect in the threat against the school is being interviewed by federal authorities.
No word on whether the suspect, Kristian Flanigan, is under arrest. He was picked up sometime Monday and is being questioned by the FBI. Last Friday, Flanigan allegedly posted on Snapchat that he wanted to “shoot up the school.” Flanigan is a former Luther student.
Meanwhile Luther Police Chief David Randall says he will pursue charges against Flanigan because “there has to be accountability for one’s actions.”
Even with Flanigan’s whereabouts known, Randall says his officers will continue to be present at Luther Public Schools Tuesday.
Flanigan is no threat to anyone! He has a disorder which is no excuse for his threats but nothing dangerous about him.
