Jess & Ira booked the first wedding at Eleven Oaks Ranch.

The first time Jessica and Ira saw Eleven Oaks Ranch, Luther’s new event venue, the building was a shell. Shop lights showed bare 2x4s and sawdust. Even though today the grounds are lush green and landscaped, that day it was just dirt outside.

But it didn’t take long for the couple to say yes to the venue; because they had a vision of their wedding day right there. And they felt at home and welcome. Plus they could tell where the fireplace would go, a definite focal point.  The couple originally booked the venue north of Luther on Diagonal Road at County Line Road for a date in September. But their wedding is actually this month. An unexpected family health situation forced them to try move up the wedding, if possible. It was possible at Eleven Oaks Ranch, and the compassion and flexibility made an impact on the couple.

“Jaye and Shawna were so wonderful to work with us, and allowed us to change our date. They are amazing people,” said Jessica on her glowing Facebook review of Eleven Oaks Ranch.

Jaye Payton and Shawna Stults are the faces of Eleven Oaks; and the personality. On a visit, you can find them in their upstairs office before offering you a tour of the 9500 square foot event space with amenities like a lush bride’s area with plenty of light and mirrors and a manly groom’s room featuring games and space to chill.  For the caterers and other service providers, there’s easy parking plus a kitchen with ample room to stage appetizers for a crowd or to plate dinner for up to 300 guests.

Jessica said she was made to feel like family the very first time she visited Eleven Oaks during an odyssey adventure of venue hunting with her future husband. Although Jaye and her husband, Ken, a master builder who custom crafted Eleven Oaks, are newer to the area, Shawna was a beloved teacher at Luther Elementary who just retired this year after a long career in early education.

At the Eleven Oaks grand opening back in April, Shawna was thrilled to see a former student. When little Bobby Springer was in Mrs. Stults class, he didn’t tower over his teacher like he does now. Bobby will wed fiancé Alissa later this year.

An event venue open house is an invitation for brides and grooms-to-be, neighbors and the curious public to visit the custom venue. Florists like Tony Foss Flowers and caterers like Uptown Grocery showcase their talents. Local vendors like DJ Shorty B and Wildhorse Canyon Farms represent Luther well.

Eleven Oaks is having another Open House on Thursday evening.

Eleven Oaks is open for weddings, reunions, dinners, corporate events and any other occasion to gather with a crowd in a beautiful setting. #lutherlocal
