Tuesday is the day for the Luther Register’s first candidate forum. To become better informed neighbors and voters, we have organized this event to bring together the candidates to network and present their ideas and plans for our Town.

After a social time where everyone can grab a small bite and refreshment, we’ll get started with the Forum around 6:15. Audience members will get to hear each candidate give an introduction, and then we’ll ask questions on important topics that Luther Register readers have submitted:
- Annexation
- Budgeting
- Public Safety – police and fire
- Blight
- Town management
- Infrastructure issues – water and waste
- Economic Development

Something else on your mind? Send us a question or come to the Forum to visit with the candidates in person.
All eleven candidates are invited to the forum, although not all of them have indicated they will come! There will be a place for every candidate at the head table. Read about the candidates here who participated in our Voter’s Guide.
Special thanks to our sponsors – Broken Horn Ranch, Josephine’s Cafe, DJ’s Barbecue, 116 Farmstead, Market and Table and The Chicken Shack.
Visit the EVENT page for the Forum to tell us you are coming (so we have enough wings and cookies!).
And if you are hungry after the forum, a couple of our restaurants will still be open after the Forum concludes at 8 pm.
If you can’t make the event, it will be broadcast on Facebook Live, and we will have follow-up coverage here.
