Both the Luther Lions and the Lady Lions have won one and lost one in the Stroud Tiger 66 Coliseum Classic Basketball Tournament.
The Boys lost Thursday to Mannford in their tournament opener with a 63 to 55 final. Bad weather conditions cancelled the games Friday, and Round Two was played Saturday evening with Luther running past Cushing for a final score of 63 to 49. The Lions will play the Consolation Championship game Monday at 5:20 pm against Tecumseh.
The Lady Lions won their tournie opener Thursday against Seminole in a high-scoring 63 to 55 final. Saturday, the Ladies hit the court against Cushing who beat Luther with a final of 41 to 23. The Lady Lions play for the tournament’s third place trophy at 4pm on Monday against either OCS or Preston.
