msjtwoThe Luther Middle School Lions welcomed the Harrah Panthers to Wilson Field tonight for a small scrimmage before their season opener next Monday at Bethel. The middle school team experienced what it is like to be at a high school camp. Harrah’s middle school was split between 7th and 8thgraders, and Luther scrimmaged both age groups, round-robin style. There was no score kept, but it was tough competition on both sides of the ball with both ages. The coaches and players alike got a taste of football and the season ahead of them.

There were even a few high school players who stayed around after their practice to watch, coach, and cheer on the boys.
