A full week into practice, the 2016 Luther Lions suited up for a little Friday night scrimmage. And Luther won! A mere near 90 degree temperature didn’t keep away a couple of hundred fans to watch the action.
The first regular game is Friday, August 26, 2016, at 7 pm. It’s also HALL OF FAME night, recognizing the team from 1996.
WANTED – Sports Stringer. The Luther Register would like to offer a reporting and photographer job to a student interested in gaining experience in sports for all Luther athletics, and ages. The pay won’t be great, but the experience will be (and a great college application or resume
builder). Must have own camera, be willing to turn in a story quickly after a 
game, and be able to attend most games. Preference given to LHS students. Contact The Luther Register to express interest or with questions.
The Touchdown Club also scored tonight with drink donations.
