Oklahoma County authorities say that William Haywood (dob 7.20.90) is a person of interest in the Monday morning death of Tyler Muck of Luther.
Muck, authorities say, was killed at his home at 17411 NE 234th Street in Luther.
Lt. Charles Avery said according to witness statements Muck was arguing with a female who is not officially identified, and apparently Haywood intervened and witnesses say Muck was fatally shot.
Authorities say Haywood fled the scene in Muck’s vehicle sometime after 4 am Monday, July 11, and left the vehicle on Luther Road between Covell and Coffee Creek. A perimeter had been set up to search for Haywood.

Lt. Avery emphasized that Haywood is not a necessarily a suspect. Authorities need to interview him to determine whether the action was in self-defense or was a “flat-out shooting,” Avery said.
Anyone who might see Haywood is advised to call authorities immediately, and not interact with him. The other occupants of the home have been interviewed and are not suspects in the death.
Haywood has two active warrants against him, including unauthorized use of a vehicle and unauthorized possession of a firearm following a previous conviction.

Unofficial reports say the other female in the home was Muck’s longtime girlfriend. Muck, 22, was the father of two young children.
