A friend was reminiscing about the awesomeness of the show Soul Train that came on Saturday’s during our 1970s youth. What a show.
Then Luther Band Director Jessica Shatswell let The LutherRegister know the band is having a fund-raising car wash Saturday at the high school. Soon I found myself humming the car wash song from Rose Royce. Dig it.
And guess what? Found a Soul Train version of Car Wash on YouTube.
Enjoy it. Then go get your cars washed Saturday by band members and lay some cash on them. You know they need the funds for their programs as LPS heads into a painfully tight budget year.
