The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority still calls it preliminary, but it is presenting a route for the Eastern Oklahoma Turnpike Loop at a meeting Thursday at 4 pm in Harrah.
OTA Eastern Oklahoma County Public Meeting
Thursday, March 10, 2016
4 – 8 p.m.
Harrah Church
101 S. Dobbs Rd
Harrah, Okla.
OTA is not taking public comments but says individuals will be able to speak one-on-one with engineers on the proposed route.
Here is the paragraph from the release announcing the Thursday meeting:
The loop will link I-40 and I-44 (Turner Turnpike) in Eastern Oklahoma County. This project will provide an enhanced transportation corridor to connect Eastern Oklahoma County to vital intersections in response to the need for increased road safety and reduction of traffic congestion.
At this come and go meeting, engineers and right-of-way experts will be available from 4 to 8 p.m. to answer questions and receive input from the community on the preliminary alignment.
This new information to be unveiled Thursday will be revised from the maps that were presented at the Feb. public meeting. Image below.
The State Theatre is showing Weird Science at 5, doors open at 4. Drop the kids off and pick them up when the meeting is over.
Sounds like a good way to lose your kids and your land, all in one night! ;).
