Where is the festival?

The Luther Pecan Festival is on Main Street in Luther. Beginning at Ash (Luther Road) and along Main Street to Second Street. The festival is in the middle of the street where you’ll find plenty of shopping with original art, antiques, jewelry, boutiques, skincare and more from artists and artisans and curators who are passionate about their work! We also have live music, kids’ activities, and PLENTY of options for great food from our restaurants and food trucks. (Couch Pecans will be open for you to go grab a bag to take home).

Luther is east of Edmond about 15 miles, and only and hour or so away from Tulsa.

Where is Luther?

Luther is in the northeast tip of Oklahoma County. It’s an easy trip down Highway 66 from I-35 at Second Street in Edmond. Or it’s a quick exit off of the Turner Turnpike just 13 miles from OKC. Coming from the east, you could also take Highway 66 from Tulsa for a great drive, or find our exit off the Turner westbound too.

What about the parking?

Look for the signs! We will have signs marking designated parking areas that will include the church and school parking lots. There’s plenty of curbside parking along town streets. If you’re coming in from the city, maybe UBER or LYFT?

When is this event?

The Luther Pecan Festival is Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 10 am – 4 pm.

Who is putting this on?

It’s a production of The Luther Register, news for our town, along with many sponsors and volunteers.

WHY?

Why not? We want to celebrate #lutherlocal, and our agricultural roots with the annual harvest at Couch Pecans that brings a lot of visitors to our area. The Luther Pecan Festival is bringing together a community with art, food, music and fun.  We also want to highlight our GROWING Main Street business district! Oklahomans love our festivals!

What kind of art will be there?

We are thrilled to offer an outlet for many local artisans from Luther and afar. From paintings to furniture, woodwork, jewelry, clothing, tea towels, quilts, crochet, soaps from milk from donkeys and goats, sculpture and more. It’s all for sale giving you a great jumpstart on holiday gifting that keeps your dollars local and gives you gifts that are unique and special.

FOOD?

So much delicious food! We have our local restaurants like Farmstead Cafe, Our Town Eatery, DJ’s BBQ, Sonic and The Chicken Shack. They’ll offer amazing pecan inspired menu items. Plus we have some of the hottest food trucks signed up featuring  … traditional food, adventurous food, and something to meet every taste.

How can I be involved?

First. COME! And bring a friend. Want to help us? There are plenty of volunteer opportunities. Here’s a link to pick a volunteer shift.
