Where is the festival?

The Luther Pecan Festival is on Main Street in Luther. Beginning at Ash (Luther Road) and along Main Street to Second Street. Did we mention the festival is in the middle of the street where you’ll find plenty of shopping with artists, artisans, antiques and more, plus live music, a kids craft area and PLENTY of options for great food from our restaurants and food trucks. (Couch Pecans will be open for you to go grab a bag to take home).

Where is Luther?

Luther is in the northeast tip of Oklahoma County. It’s an easy trip down Highway 66 from I-35 at Second Street in Edmond. Or it’s a quick exit off of the Turner Turnpike just 13 miles from OKC. Follow the signs to the Pecan Festival.

Is the Luther Pecan Festival family friendly?

YES! Thanks to our sponsors Healthcare Express in Choctaw and A Bright Tomorrow Counseling Service, we will have a fun kids area featuring yard games and pecan crafts. And guess who is coming back? SANTA! This year he will be at The Chicken Shack so he can show you his amazing Christmas Village!

What about the parking?

Look for the signs! We will have signs marking designated parking areas that will include the school parking lots, curbside along town streets. If you’re coming in from the city, try to UBER in.

When is this event?

The Luther Pecan Festival is Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 10 am – 5pm.

Who is putting this on?

It’s a production of The Luther Register, news for our town, along with many sponsors and volunteers.

Why not. We want to celebrate #lutherlocal, and our agricultural roots with the annual harvest at Couch Pecans that brings a lot of visitors to our area. The Luther Pecan Festival is bringing together a community with art, food, music and fun.  We also want to highlight our GROWING Main Street business district! Oklahomans love our festivals!

What kind of art will be there?

We are thrilled to offer an outlet for many local artisans from Luther and afar. From paintings to furniture, woodwork, jewelry, clothing, tea towels, quilts, crochet, soaps from milk from donkeys and goats, sculpture and more. It’s all for sale giving you a great jumpstart on holiday gifting that keeps your dollars local and gives you gifts that are special.

So much delicious food! We have our local restaurants like Josephine’s Cafe, and the 116 Farmstead, Market & Table, DJ’s BBQ, Sonic and The Chicken Shack. They’ll offer amazing pecan inspired menu items. Plus we have some of the hottest food trucks signed up featuring  … traditional food, adventurous food, and something to meet every taste.
