Candy, games, music … it’s Downtown Trunk or Treat night in Luther for Halloween.
Main Street will be shutdown between 6 – 9 pm tonight for costumed children to parade from trunk to trunk and store front to store front for treats.
The Chicken Shack, Fire Department and Los Vegas Mexican Restaurant will also be good stops (for candy and dinner), along with many houses in town. Watch for porchlights to be on before knocking. The 116 Farmstead Market & Table will be open for drinks.
Several congregations will have activities tonight.
Downtown, DJ Shorty B will play “spooky tunes” next to Town Hall. There’s so much relief in Luther now that suspect Vance is no longer a threat, a street dance just might break out. You heard it here first, folks!
