Town Egg Hunt at Wildhorse Park Saturday

No peeking kids! Sometime early before 10:00 am Saturday, Luther fire fighters and other stand-ins for the Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs in Wildhorse Park.

It’s a Luther tradition, according to Town Trustee Birlene Langley. For 25 years or so, she said this egg hunt in the park delights Luther’s children as they scramble for hidden and not so hidden eggs filled with candy.

The Town of Luther and the Luther Economic Development Authority pitched in money for eggs and candy. Langley said other sponsors are Luther Insurance Agency and Luther’s First Bank & Trust.

Langley said other guest appearances at the event might include the Easter Bunny.

All children, and children-at-heart are welcome to attend.
